HER FIRST STEP BACK TO SCHOOL BEGAN WITH A UNIFORM, A SAFE PLACE TO HEAL, AND SOMEONE WHO BELIEVED IN HER.

When Hawa first came to For Every Girl, she wondered if she would ever have the future she once dreamed of. Like many of the girls in our program, Hawa had experienced rape. In Liberia, sexual violence often marks the end of a girl's education. Shame, trauma, and financial hardship force many girls to leave school just when they need hope the most.

But Hawa's story did not end there. Week after week, her advocate showed up. With counseling, medical care, tutoring, and the steady support of people who believed in her, Hawa began to heal. Slowly, her confidence returned. And one day, she put on her school uniform again.

At For Every Girl, we believe abuse should never be the end of a girl's story. We walk alongside 50 girls in Liberia. This June, we are launching Her Future, Our Focus, a campaign to raise $25,000 to cover tuition, uniforms, and school supplies for all 50 girls in our program for next school year. A gift of $500 covers one girl's education for an entire year.

When you give at this level, you’ll be paired with a girl and receive quarterly updates on her progress so you can witness her healing and growth firsthand. Most importantly, it gives you the chance to pray for her or simply hold her in your heart as she journeys forward. Because when a girl is given the space to heal and the chance to learn, her story doesn’t end with what she’s survived, it begins again.
