Meet the founders
Michal Bowers
LISW, MSW
Michal is passionate about helping girls find freedom from Gender-Based Violence. With her background in social work, Michal has led many local initiatives including the protection of children and non-profit development regarding human trafficking case management.
Having spent significant time in Liberia teaching, Michal has had the opportunity to work with girls who have been victims of Sexual-Based Violence. Michal dreams of cultivating a movement that allows girls to find their inner voices through self-discovery and adventure.
Executive Director
Torrey's exuberant passion and outlook on life has encouraged women all across the globe. With skills in human development, case management, mentorship, and social injustice, Torrey has fought for the freedom of many.
Torrey has spent time both locally and internationally working with victims of human trafficking and been a change agent in fostering sustainability skills for those she has worked with. Torrey dreams of providing a safe place for women to find their own strength and residency while overcoming their biggest fears.
